Hello Faithful followers, it has certainly been awhile since my last post so thank you for your patience. I decided to branch out into a little different piece this time. This a multi media layout I made on canvas. I really had fun stepping out of my creative zone and learning a new technique or two.
The piece I used to represent my son is pair of wings from the Tim Holtz Ideaology collection set together with a blue flower from Mon Ami Gabie. I like this piece so much because it will hopefully remind him always that he is my angel.
and some gears also from Tim Holtz , since I have the die to cut these now I have really had alot of fun playing with different materials. As you can see here I used cardboard
I had to add a butterfly and some feathers.
I finished it off with these cool metal corners that I found at Michaels, sorry I don't know the names right now but it is a really cool like of metal pieces that, as you can see, can be inked to match your project.
Thank you for stopping by, until my next post, I will bid you auf wiedersehn.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your wonderful visits to my blog, I've really appreciate your positive encouragement! I always find it hard to come up with a card for a male.. and have never did one... as a big BLANK would always appear lol This sexy suit was fun. Thanks again for the visit!

HI again Jennifer! thank YOU! I appreciate so much your awesome comments you leave for me. Those pink ones are gorgeous hey? I made a few using different pinks with patterns and one with none,, And this one just turned out so nicely.. I also made a pretty blue one. I like to experiment making them with different colours but then I have a pile of flowers LOL Figured I was safe with pink that I'd be able to use them up. I haven't really thought about a tut... as I've never done one... Don't have a camera to make a video.... They are cut from SVG files... and not sure I think I bought that set of cut files... but don't hold me to that... I'd have to take another look and try and remember if they were a freebie or bought. (I'm thinking bought) But either way.. I really like how they turned out the added tail is just an added bonus. Thanks again, Sherry
